CCR Draft 3

Q: How did your production skills develop throughout the project?

A:     Throughout the project, I learned a lot of useful skills and tricks. I learned how magazines get distributed, and how they get created, now having first hand experience creating my own. I know how to manage my time as well, especially when trying to tackle a big task, such as maintaining  a steady blog of work, and producing a magazine to the best of my ability. Overall, I believe my production skills have increased and been sharpened very much throughout the creation of this project as a whole.

Throughout the article, I plan to change a few pictures, and define my page numbers more with some branding.

Conventions/Social Groups

How does your product challenge conventions of your genre?           The magazines I researched were mainly Sports Illustrated issues, and I took many ideas and incorporated them into my magazine. I tried to replicate the exact title font, and took ideas such as the page numbers being included on the title. I also added my own twist to the generic Sports Illustrated issues. How does it represent social groups or issues?      The social groups my issue are mainly targeting are High Schoolers and just people in the area that may be interested. I plan to hand the magazine out at school and hopefully go to some local businesses to see if they will have my magazine at their store.
