Interview
I interviewed August Drews for my Magazine, so all the "Q's" are questions I asked, and the "A's" are August's answers.
Q: “As far as your season went, how do you feel you did overall, even though you did back-up Senior Deric DuBose the majority of the season?”
A: “Overall, I feel like I did very well for being a second string for half of the season. As a sophomore scoring 7 touchdowns and averaging 10 receptions, I believe I am set for a great next 2 years.”
Q: “With the recent news in Head Coach Brian Ryals leaving, how do you feel your team will do next season?”
A: “This topic is hard for me to talk about, because me and Coach B had something special. I connected with him unlike I ever have with any other Coach. Overall I’m still going to keep in close touch with Coach B, but for now we just have to stay possitive, and hope the Administration makes the right decision.”
Q: “Alright one more question: Are there any players on your team that will make a big impact in the next 2 years?”
A: “Oh of course there is we have a lot of talent on our team. As far as players in my Class go (2020), Blaise Freeman, Mailik Bryant, Dante Maggio, Jason Scott, and Vincent Parisi will all make a big impact in my opinion. Those boys have a work ethic like no other, and will do anything they put their mind to. I firmly believe that those boys will all get offers to play in college, regardless of the level, if they stick to their grind.”
Q: “Alright well August that’s all the time we have for today, thank you for joining me!
A: “No problem man, thank you for the opportunity.”
